This is a product we personally chose to offer on our online store because of it's size and usefulness in those emergency situations. However we thought it would be good idea to talk about the pros and cons.
As for practical application's, this is a blade for minor emergencies many people find in their day to day lives. I'm talking about opening a letter without damaging the envelope. In my opinion, anything beyond cutting up a regular cardboard box is asking too much from this knife. The blade is a 3 inch drop point made from some sort of surgical steel. Certainly passable for it's intended use. Everything comes folded up into the shape of a credit card, and if you disengage the safety Iatch, pop out blade,and fold a couple flaps over you get a fully assembled knife. Actual assembly is really quite simple, but if you would like a more detailed demonstration. I recommend checking videos that show case live useage on a platform like Youtube. To sum it up this knife can be used in emergency situations but everyday use and chore not but again we gave it a 6.7
